This week’s lesson is thanks to a Gold Member request. Jerusalem Ridge is one of the most popular bluegrass fiddle tunes ever written! It was written by Bill Monroe and his longtime fiddle player Kenny Baker (although many people think that Kenny wrote it alone and Bill snagged credit for it).

thank you Mike now I can see the sense of using 2nd position – I did learn this from a Kevin Burke CD ( Irish ) but its lovely the way you explain everything and show the proper Bluegrass way with the double stops etc.
