Another of my favorite Texas Style fiddle tunes. There are tons of different parts, variations, and versions of this tune. Old timers used to play it in more of a minor key, but at modern fiddle contests you're generally going to hear it in E major. This particular arrangement comes from one of my rounds at the National Fiddlers Contest in 2011. You can learn this arrangement and take it straight to a contest if you want to. Enjoy!

I have seen “Don’t love nobody” in A and C. Which is the preference?
I have played both versions, and both are very popular in contests. One important note is that the C version includes the minor section, which is an important vocal melody part of the song that generally gets left out of the A version.
