Shady Grove is one of those tunes that can be played a number of different ways. I've heard it major, minor, with varying chord progressions and different lyrics. This version is most akin to the version by Doc Watson (which you can watch below), except it's for the mandolin of course! I've included four different videos: the tune itself, a rhythm lesson, a basic melody lesson, and an intermediate solo lesson. That all adds up to one big awesome Shady Grove lesson!
