Here are the jazz follow-up lessons to the basic Sweet Georgia Brown melody lesson we did a while back. In this three-part lesson series I will show you how to implement a couple of easy improvisation techniques to spice up this jazz classic. I have transcribed a solo by the legendary jazz clarinet player Benny Goodman and transposed it into the more fiddle friendly key of D. Learning solo's from non-fiddle players is a great way to improve your ear and learn new improv tricks.

Here is the entire series:

Sweet Georgia Brown: Basic Melody
Sweet Georgia Brown: Tune and Introduction
Sweet Georgia Brown: Single Note Variations
Sweet Georgia Brown: Using Space
Sweet Georgia Brown:Benny Goodman Lick in D
Sweet Georgia Brown: Benny Goodman Lick in F
